Brake and turn use the same bulb in 2003, so you should have turn signals as well. In 2003 the left and right turn/brake signals each have separate fuse to feed trailer light connector. Fuses 3 and 7 in cab fuse box, just FYI. But the tail lights in trailer connector is just spliced into the Brown wire at rear of vehicle.

Its a 10 minute job. Im pretty sure if you find someone with Forscan they will be able to activate the module for you and save you some money.

Trailer Lighting Module Fault I have my first failure on my new truck. The display shows "Trailer Lighting Module Fault- see manual" as well as "Trailer right turn lamps fault" and Trailer left turn lamps fault". Does it with two trailers so it's the truck. There seems to be a confusing info on here about the factory installed tow packages TRailer Module. The trailer power connector still has a fuse that can blow.
