On the small boards of 9e and with objective-focused missions, rushing the enemy deployment zone just isn't really important anymore, so the Impulsor does a job that you don't especially need. It's also not as mobile as a 14" move would make you think now that it doesn't have FLY, because moving around stuff with a 100mm base is rough.

For loadout, it could be interesting to make a Razorback-type thing with a multi-melta and one of the two gun upgrades, since Uphold makes the shield dome superfluous.
